Advocacy and Awareness

A trusted and recognized advocate on behalf of educators and students, CTAT serves as your voice in critical state policy decisions and educates other audiences about the importance of career and technical education. Members are the first to know about issues and trends and fully participate in the advocacy process.

Conferences and training sessions are designed to keep members informed about new regulations and laws, expand quality guidance and instructional practices, and discover what colleagues are doing to successfully prepare students to enter a globally competitive workforce.

Access policy information, research, white papers, grant opportunities and instructional and management resources. The award-winning Techniques magazine is published eight times a year and provides a wealth of useful information to faculty and administrators, including trends, case studies and classroom tools.

Recognition for Excellence

Numerous $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually for students to continue their education in college. Aligned with the Association for Career and Technical Education’s award program, professional educators, business and civic leaders are recognized each year for extraordinary contributions and for programs and activities that exemplify the highest standards, program improvement and expansion.

Peace of Mind

State and national membership provides you with a $25,000 policy for common carrier accidental death and dismemberment insurance within the first year of annual membership through the Forrest T. Jones Insurance Company. The policy increases by $5,000 annually with continuous renewal of membership (up to a maximum of $50,000). In addition, you have access to affordable insurance options, including liability; identify theft and others.
